In short: from sign-up to your first analysis in a few minutes.
Plan: everything here works on Free ✅
This is the path we recommend if you just arrived. Follow it in order.
1. Create your account
- Go to pokersemipro.com.
- Click Create account and sign up with email and password (or sign in with Google).
- Confirm your email through the link we send (check spam too).
- Done — you're on the Free plan, no payment needed.
2. Export your hands from the poker site
The app analyzes the hand history that the poker site itself generates. You need to export that
text file (.txt):
- PokerStars (Zoom): turn on hand history recording in the PokerStars client and locate the Hand
History folder. Files are
.txt, one per session. - GGPoker (Rush & Cash): export your hand history through GGPoker's own tool.
- CoinPoker: export your hand history through the CoinPoker client's own tool.
Tip: the more hands you import, the more precise the diagnosis. A few thousand hands already give a useful picture; tens of thousands sharpen the diagnosis.
3. Import into Poker Semi-Pro
Under Management you have two ways:
- Automatic (recommended): in "Auto-import," connect the folder where your history is saved once. From then on, every time you open the app, new hands come in on their own — no exporting or dragging files every time. (Works on Chrome, Edge or Opera on desktop.)
- Manual: drag the
.txtfiles (or the.zipfrom GGPoker/CoinPoker) into the importer. The app reads them, identifies your hands and shows how many were found, new and duplicate.
Re-import without worry: repeated hands are ignored automatically. If you import the same file twice, nothing gets duplicated.
GGPoker: GG doesn't record hands on its own and often takes a few minutes to write all of the session's hands to the file — download the history from the client and, if hands are missing, re-import later.
4. See your first picture
As soon as you import, the Dashboard shows you a "Start here" trail — the steps in order, marking what you've already done and lighting up the next one. Following the path:
- Dashboard — the trail + shortcuts to each area.
- Finance — your results: balance, bb/100 and hands per day.
- Analysis — review hand by hand: history, EV chart and results by position.
- Diagnosis (Pro) — the heart of the app. The Overview lists your prioritized fixes (from most critical to least) — this is where you decide what to study first.
- Stats — your frequencies, each with the ideal range. Green = within range; outside the range = an adjustment opportunity.
5. Fix and train
- In Diagnosis, open the Exploits tab: it separates the spots where you got it right from the ones where you left money on the table, with a replay of each hand, a score from 0 to 10 and an explanation of the most profitable line.
- In Range Training, drill your preflop decisions on a felt table with instant feedback — in 6-max (free) and, on Pro, also in HU and 9-max. Earn XP, level up, and drill the exact scenario of your leak.

Common questions
- Do I have to pay to use it? No. The Free plan already delivers a lot. Pro unlocks the depth of study.
- Is my data visible to others? No. Each user only sees their own data. You only share a hand if you choose to publish it in the Community.
- Which sites can I import from? PokerStars (Zoom), GGPoker (Rush & Cash) and CoinPoker, in 6-max cash games, NL2–NL25.
- I imported and nothing showed up. Confirm the file is the site's
.txthand history and that the hands are 6-max cash. If it persists, contact Support.
