In short: the app links every session to the next one — you take missions to the table and, after you play, see how each one went, with the hands to review.
Plan: session result on Free; missions, review, highlight and warm-up on Pro; the mentor's voice on Max
What it's for
Players who improve don't just play — they have a ritual. Poker Semi-Pro gives you two moments, always linked:
- Before you play: what to take to the table (the missions).
- After you play: how each mission went and what stood out in the session.
The missions (Pro)
Each session has 1 main mission and 1 secondary mission, taken from the Diagnosis "Where to start" — a leak (e.g. BB 3-Bet vs Steal), a money line (e.g. pots where you face a 3-bet), a hand family (e.g. offsuit broadways) or an exploit spot.
- Rotation: a mission lasts up to 2 sessions (or less, if you complete it). Then it rests and the next one in the list comes in — you don't see the same mistake every session.
- Revisit: a mission that has rested can come back later, tagged Revisit, to check that the improvement stuck.
- Alternating themes: the secondary tends to be a different theme from the main one (preflop × postflop).
- Warm up before you play: each mission has buttons for the spot's Training, the topic's Quiz, the Board Lab or the spot in Exploits, plus a link to your hands for that spot.
After you play: how the missions went
- This session: the mission's number in the session that just ended.
- Since the start: the total since the mission began, compared with the value before. The verdict is Completed, Improved, Same or Got worse.
- Measuring: when there aren't enough hands to judge yet, you see a progress bar (e.g. "7 of 12 spots") — never "no sample". Leaks need 12 spots; exploit spots, 10 decisions; money lines and hand families, 100 hands, because bb results over few hands are luck.
- Review this session's hands: opens exactly the mission's hands from that day.
- What cost you most: the hands with a missed exploit that cost the most in the session — they change every session — with what you did, the right play and the replay.
- How you played: the session's VPIP, PFR and 3-Bet compared with your usual, and how many exploits you took × left on the table.
- The session day is the day in Brasília time (the same as Finance): if you play late at night, the whole session shows up on the right day. A session that goes past midnight stays on the day it started, and the Session page analyzes all of its hands (costliest hands, tilt and focus include the ones after midnight).
- "Did you stick to your focus?" compares the session with your history before it.
- Tournaments: the Debrief covers cash sessions. Your tournament results are under Tournaments.
Where it shows up
- Home: the Your last session × Your next session card.
- Session ("See full session"): result, reviewed missions, highlight, next missions, tilt and costliest hands (Pro).
- Mentor → Session focus ("See full focus"): the session-by-session timeline, with each session's missions.
The mentor's voice (Max)
On Max, the mentor talks at both moments: a short briefing before you play, written from your missions, and the mentor's reading after you play, which values the decision (not just the result). It writes from your real numbers — it doesn't make anything up.
How to use it
- Before sitting down: open Home, read the main mission and use a Warm up button.
- After playing: import the session's hands and check how the missions went and the highlight.
- Review: open the mission's hands and the highlight hand; take the fix to your next session.
FAQ
- Why did the mission change? Because it completed 2 sessions or was completed — the rotation avoids repeating the same point forever. It can come back as a revisit.
- Why does it say "Measuring"? There aren't enough hands of that spot yet to judge safely.
- Do I need Pro? The session result shows on Free. Missions, review, highlight, tilt and costly hands are Pro. The mentor's voice is Max.
- The session doesn't show up. It only appears after you import that day's hands.
