What it's for

While Diagnosis gives you the conclusions, Analysis is where you investigate. Want to see every hand where you called a 3-bet with a medium hand from the SB? Filter and look. It's the workbench for anyone who wants to go into the details.

What's there

• Real sessions — choose by date and time or use your full history. Each session shows its result in the selector, and the Latest session button jumps to the most recent one.
• Session chart with a reading — right under the numbers, one line explains the chart: how much came from showdown and non-showdown hands (what weighs most) and your all-in luck (real result × what your equity predicted; negative = bad luck, not a mistake).
• Hands worth a look — when you pick a session, right after the chart: the exploit mistakes that cost the most (what you did and the right play), the preflop mistakes (opened outside the range, folded an opening hand, called or folded vs an open/3-bet/4-bet when your room's GTO does something else — with the EV cost when the chart has it; deviations costing less than 0.1 bb don't count, since GTO is nearly indifferent there), the biggest losses and the all-ins (with how much was luck), each with the replay. If there are more preflop mistakes, a link opens Preflop × GTO. On your latest session a button opens the Debrief; on any session another opens its Exploits.
• A filterable hand table — result, position, line, board and replay. By default it shows only the hands you played (you put money in voluntarily or saw the flop); folds with no action are hidden and Show all brings everything back. Hands with an exploit mistake get the Mistake badge — hover to read it. Hands you folded before the flop show a dash in the board column (the board that came later isn't part of your hand).
• Mistake badges on each hand — Exploit (red) and Preflop (purple); tap a badge to read the mistake. With a session picked, Mistakes only keeps just the hands with a mistake in the list.
• Result over time — Overall, Non-showdown, Showdown and Adjusted All-in EV.
• Where you win and lose — on the page itself, before the list: By position (hands, result in bb, bb/100, VPIP, PFR and WTSD for each seat, with a sentence saying where you win most and lose most outside the blinds; rows with fewer than 100 hands are faded) and the 13×13 grid of starting hands in bb.

Available filters

Session, full history, From–To interval, stake, site, format, cards, result, position, line, marked hands and hands with All-in EV. Combine them to isolate the exact scenario you want to study. In the preflop action you can choose: 3-bet, 4-bet, open (RFI), faced 3-bet, preflop all-in, called an open and isolated limpers. When a hand filter is on, an "Active filter" strip shows above the table with the slice and a Clear filters button — that's what you see when you arrive from the Diagnosis "See the N hands" button.

Cash games and Tournaments are separate views

If you have both cash and tournament hands, a Cash game / Tournaments selector shows up at the top. The tournament version is leaner — no session selector (each tournament is already its own unit, see Tournament finances) and no cards/line/marked-hands filters — but keeps the same 4 panels: table, result over time, 13×13 grid and by position. Result, pot and rake show up in chips, not dollars (tournament chips don't convert per hand); the grid and by-position result use bb, since chips aren't comparable across different tournaments.

How to use it

1. Go to Analysis.
2. Choose a session or your full history.
3. Apply filters to get to the slice you're interested in.
4. Use Review to open the Replayer without leaving the page.
5. On Max, use Study on hands you want to send to Full analysis.

Adjusted All-in EV

This line estimates the expected result only for supported hands where the cards were known at the all-in. The page shows coverage: unsupported cases stay on the actual result instead of receiving a made-up estimate.

Tips

• Watch out for filters that leave very few hands: the number becomes unstable.
• Analysis is great for confirming a hypothesis Diagnosis raised.
• Hands never enter the queue automatically: you choose what deserves deeper study.

Common questions

• What's the difference from Diagnosis? Diagnosis draws conclusions and prioritizes for you; Analysis is the free-form investigation tool.
• What's the difference from Full analysis? Analysis finds and organizes the slice. Full analysis opens a selected hand with the table, decision, math and range at the same action.
