Getting started

What is Poker Semi-Pro? An online cash game hand analyzer: you import your history and the app shows you where you're losing chips and what to fix. See About Poker Semi-Pro.

Do I have to pay to use it? No. Sign-up is free and the Free plan already delivers a lot (Dashboard, Finance, Analysis, Community, unlimited imports). Pro unlocks the depth of study.

Which sites and games can I import from? PokerStars (Zoom), GGPoker (Rush & Cash) and CoinPoker, in 6-max cash games, stakes NL2 to NL25. Analysis of your hands is 6-max cash; we don't cover tournaments, PLO or full-ring in the import yet.

But don't Training and Ranges have HU and 9-max? They do. For training and range study, we cover HU (heads-up), 6-max and 9-max, at several stack depths (40–200bb). What's 6-max only is the analysis of your imported history.

How do I import my hands? Two ways: automatic (connect the history folder once and the app imports on its own when you open it) or manual (drag in the .txt/.zip). Step by step in Getting Started.

Importing

I imported the same file twice. Will my hands get duplicated? No. Repeated hands are ignored automatically. Re-import without worry.

I imported and 0 new hands showed up. They were probably already imported, or the file isn't a 6-max cash file from a supported site. Check the file and, if it persists, contact support.

How many hands do I need? A few thousand already give a useful picture. Tens of thousands make the diagnosis a lot more precise — the more hands, the more reliable the number.

Privacy and data

Can other people see my hands and stats? No. Each user only sees their own data. A hand is only visible to others if you choose to share it in the Community.

What do you do with my data? We use it to generate your analyses. In the future, aggregated and anonymized data may power comparisons against the population average by stake — without ever exposing your individual account.

Plans and payment

What's the difference between Free, Pro and Max? Pro ($5/mo) unlocks the full Diagnosis (money map, leaks by position, real preflop × GTO, Exploits), unlimited Training and the full Stats. Max ($10/mo) is everything in Pro plus the AI Mentor — a coach that comments on your numbers and hands. Free has the Diagnosis summary and Training capped at 50 hands/day.

What is the AI Mentor? It's the feature exclusive to Max: a personal coach trained on your own data, which cross-references your stats with your exploits and generates focused reports and hand-by-hand comments. Details in AI Mentor.

How much does it cost and is there lock-in? Pro $5/mo and Max $10/mo, no lock-in — cancel whenever you want. There's also a discounted annual plan for both (equivalent to a couple of months free) — exact amounts show up on Plans.

How do I pay? Card, via Stripe. Payment is secure and processed by Stripe; we don't store your card details.

How do I cancel? From the subscription screen, whenever you want. Paid access (Pro or Max) continues until the end of the period already paid.

Study and numbers

What's a "leak"? A chip drain — a mistake that keeps repeating and costs chips over time. The app finds yours and prioritizes them from most critical to least.

What's the "ideal range" in Stats? The range where winning players sit at that stake. Green = you're within it; outside it = an adjustment opportunity. It's not a hard rule, it's a reference.

What's the "Exploits" tab? For every type of decision, it separates the spots where you got it right from the ones where you left value on the table — with a replay, a score from 0 to 10, and an explanation of the most profitable line.

Do you use GTO? We use GTO as a reference (the theoretical equilibrium strategy), mainly preflop and in Training. The app's focus, though, is to be actionable and opinionated — we're not a heavy solver.
